IJMEAR welcomes original research articles, systematic reviews, case reports, short communications, methods articles, and editorials from researchers, clinicians, and educators worldwide. There are no restrictions on geographic origin, career stage, or institutional affiliation.

Article Types

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format. The main manuscript file must be anonymised — remove all author names and institutional affiliations for double-blind peer review. Prepare a separate Title Page document containing full author details.

Structured abstracts (Background · Objective · Methods · Results · Conclusion) are required for original research and systematic reviews. Word limit: 150–300 words. Keywords: 5–8 MeSH terms preferred.

Referencing Style

Use Vancouver style for clinical and biomedical manuscripts. APA 7th edition is acceptable for medical education research. References should be numbered consecutively in order of appearance in the text.

Ethics Requirements

All research involving human participants must have received ethics committee or IRB approval. The committee name and reference number must be stated in the manuscript. Informed consent must be confirmed. Studies involving animals must comply with ARRIVE guidelines.

Article Processing Charge

There are no submission charges. The APC of €18.99 is payable only upon acceptance. Authors from low- and middle-income countries may apply for a full or partial waiver by contacting the editorial office before submission.
